This July offers a number of exciting shows to catch that are perfect for families this school holiday. At the Spotlight Theatre near Surfers Paradise don’t miss a special adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk, featuring musical numbers and dazzling choreography, running from July 4 to July 14. At Home of the Arts, Surfers Paradise’s leading performance venue, catch Alice in Wonderland on Stage on July 15: a stunning stage production featuring animatronic puppets and magical set design starring all the famous characters from the novel. On July 20 and July 21 at Home of the Arts, join Phileas Fogg and his valet as they try to circumnavigate the world in 80 days with this brand new production of Around the World in 80 Days.

From July 13 to July 22 catch VIVA Surfers Paradise in Surfers Paradise, one of the largest tribute artist music festivals in Australia and a must-attend for fans of Elvis Presley. There’s also the Groundwater Country Music Festival in Broadbeach, which will see some of the biggest country music stars from all over the world gather together for three days of nonstop country music, from July 27 to July 29.
